This video is all about the new Key Signatures you need for Grade 3.

Sheila describes, writes and explains all about the nine major keys you will be expected to know for your Grade 3 Music theory examination. She also explains all about the nine minor keys that are the "relatives" to these nine majors. She also demonstrates these at the piano.

Stuck at Grade 5?

Some music examination boards do not allow a pupil to progress beyond Grade 5 until they have passed Grade 5 Music Theory. Many music teachers do not teach Music Theory (or simply do not have time to fit Music Theory into instrumental lessons taught in school - Sheila herself has this problem) so this can become a barrier the student finds it difficult to pass.
